WHY STUDY IN GERMANY ?

There are almost 450 Universities covering 17,500 degree programmes in Germany. You have a top-class degree recognized around the world. A German university degree is highly valued and respected by employers around the world. In German Universities  you have more opportunity to get enroll in different possible subject and academic level like, Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral degrees. Duration of Education in Germany :
If you want to study in Germany you should know duration of study programmes in Germany which are as: Bachelor's degree programme  is 3 years, Master's degree programme is 2 years and Doctorate/PhD  is 3-5 years.
Low Tuition Fees : In Germany  Public higher education institution normally waive tuition fees for most Bachelor;s and Master's degree programmes. For certain Master;s degree programmes and Business studies tuition fees are charged. If you study in Private German Universities they will charge tuition fees-but most of them also offer scholarship options for bright students.
Affordable living expenses : In other European countries cost of living is high but in Germany you find it economical and affordable. The cost of rent, accommodation, food, traveling and study material are affordable and average  to the European countries living cost. STUDENTS MONTHLY EXPENSES

Cost of Food and Drink: In Germany average cost of food and drink is around € 165 per month.
Cost of Rent and Utilities: In Germany rent is high as compared to other utilities which is around €298.
Cost of Learning Material: As a Student you  have to buy study material which is around €30.
Cost of Transportation: The cost of traveling in Germany is around €82 as public transportation.
Medical Cost: In Germany medical, health insurance and medicine cost is around €66. 
Telephone and TV Cost: As an international student you have to pay €33 as TV, net & Telephone expense.
Clothing and Cultural cost: Recreation, sports and clothing cost is around €120.
Total Expense as study in Germany is around €800 per month and it is affordable.

Scholarship in Germany : If you have good educational record, you can find a fully funded scholarship in Germany. Many public and private Universities offer Scholarships. You can find a lot of scholarship at DAAD (The German Academic Exchange Service). It is one of the largest Scholarship organization in the world.

WORK WITH STUDY IN GERMANY

As  an International Student you can work and find a job in Germany during your study. Knowing German Language can increase your chances to get a job. You can find a job on University notice board or website of your university.
If you come from European Country : If you belong to  European Country then their is not restriction to work without work permit but the amount may not be exceed 20 hours per week. Otherwise, you have to pay into German social security system.
If you come from different Country: If you came from other country except European country then you may work 240 half days per year or 120 full days. If you work as student assistant or research assistant at university then there is no limit to work but you have to inform Alien Registration office.

APPLYING FOR THE VISA:

If you entered in Germany with other type of visa and start your study then they will expel you from Germany, therefor you have to apply for correct visa and that is student visa.There is two type of Student visa in Germany.
1. Student Application Visa : If you apply to a University and did not receive a admission letter or you want to get information about Study in Germany then you must apply for student application visa (3 month visa). This visa allow you come Germany and apply in different universities and get admission requirements.You may extend your visa up-to 6 month. If you admitted to a University then you may apply for Student Visa.
2. Student Visa: If you get enrolled in University then you apply for student visa which is 3 month visa. In this duration you have to apply for Residence permit at the Alien Registration office in your university town.

DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR A VISA APPLICATION

For student visa, you are required to present following documents.
1. Proof of financial resources.
2. Certificates of academic achievements.
3. Certificates of Health Insurance.
4. University entrance qualification recognized in Germany.
5. Notification of admission from your German university (For a student visa)
6. A statement from the university confirming that your prospects of gaining admission are good.
7. Certificate of German language proficiency (Mostly for Bachelor's Program).
So if you want to Study in Germany then you have to summit above mentioned documents for student visa. For latest study visa requirements visit the website of the German Federal Foreign Office or contact the German embassy or German consulate in your home country.
RESIDENT PERMIT: If you are not EU citizen and wants to Study in Germany more than 3 months (90 days) you must have to apply for a residence permit at the Alien Registration Office in your university town within your first three months in Germany.
